The most important issue, increased taxation, is lost in the fever over the more "popular-emotional" issue.

Proponents of the bill do not seem short on claiming that the opposition is "obsessed" or "emotional" about the word "tax". However, it is quite clear to me that these people are "justified", not "obsessed" or "emotional". The list of taxes is clearly "huge".

In fact it is the proponents who feel that the benefits of stadiums and other unnamed projects are "without question valuable". This claim is the unjustified, unproven, and unqeustionably debatable. These people are in fact acting on emotion, since they have no foundation in facts.
